A lifelong devotee to synths, OP8ALYON began manipulating digital oscillators and soundscaping as a child.   This early obsession with electronic synths eventually culminated in a First Class Bachelor of Music with Honours in Sonic Arts, providing a razor-sharp academic foundation for master-level electronic frequency manipulation and structural record engineering.

Rather than conforming to the standard formulas of the commercial festival circuit, OP8ALYON dismantles genre boundaries entirely.   By injecting the hypnotic, rolling basslines of psy-trance into the brutalist, hyper-accelerated rhythmic frameworks of modern hard techno — and polishing the arrangement with rich, sweeping melodic synth structures — they have engineered an entirely unique electronic movement.   It is heavy, cinematic, and unyielding dance music designed for late-night warehouse hypnosis and dystopian sci-fi landscapes.
